Day 8 of our trip from Phoenix to Mount Rushmore saw us return to Arizona after passing Moab and Monument Valley and checking out Canyonlands and Arches national parks. Read on for these parks and for Monument Valley first timers.
On days 6 and 7 of our road trip from Phoenix to Mount Rushmore, we began the drive home. We headed west and then south in Wyoming, topping for the night and doing some horse riding in Casper, before staying on a farm west of Grand Junction in Colorado the next evening. It also hailed on us AGAIN!
